First, I gotta say....I LOVE how Dom quoted himself!  Haha....priceless!   I have to say that people are indeed stupid if they plan to sue.  In most cases like this, the state pays for any and all damages and are pretty generous.  Come on....since when don't governments like to spend money faster than they earn it!? :-p

Now, I'm probably gonna make people mad, but why was that dude hanging out a window of a ratty ass apartment in his underwear filming it?!  Must we be involved in every facet of everyone elses' life?!  Its bad enough reality tv exists, but now we're saying watching fat people get skinny and made fun of along the way, and making fun of the way people look or act isn't enough....we need to be in the person's asshole when their getting raped!  And people are screaming at those guys to stop because there are dents on one guys car and the bumper being ripped off of the other one?  Did anyone bother to think about all the other cars and drivers in NYC who might need a road to be plowed?  So they can get supplies to live....or get to work?  I betcha that loser in his undies was probably eating left over chinese food delivered from the night before....and I betcha the road was probably plowed sometime then as well.

Here's the bottom line: If you live in an area which receives heavy snowfall, AND you want it removed so you don't have to shovel, you're gonna have to pay tax dollars and accept the fact that accidents are going to happen.  Heck, the department responsible for snow removal probably has a budget or insurance just for accidents and repairs.  And I bet you that tow company has a similar budget or insurance policy.  And I know some people might cry for damages or lost wages and they need to sue for pain and suffering.....and my response is stop whining and grow a sack.

Every part of the world has similar industries and accidents happen in them every single year.  A lot of them are probably preventable too.  Snow reduces traction and maneuverability.  If accidents didn't happen........hell half of us wouldn't be here!

Haven't seen the vidio  (slow Internet)But Unless the guy that parked was a total retard and cant read  hear  or see,  this  blizzard was predicted for a bout 3 days before it hit.  I spent 2 winters in Denver  they  always had  a short  news  blurb a bout some  person who reported his car damaged  while Parked In A  Major  road when the Signs clearly  forbid it . They even  Air PS spots to remind you  not to park on the Blizzard alleys since the are the first roads to be cleared  and  If  you car is  in the way they will be pushed aside to  get the roads open.

Sounds like they have the kit, but lack people with two braincells to rub together to drive them.

Woulda been easy as all get out to unstuck that loader if they knew how to drive it, just use the bucket and the articulated bit to wiggle it out, I've seen it done and it's pretty quick.

i dont get it... when snow emergency is declared you have to dismantle your car and store it in closet till snow emergency is over? i guess there aren't much parking spots left in NY probably

Tok, have you ever driven a front loader?  I haven't, but I'm guessing there's a learning curve on it.  Not everyone starts out at expert and works their way backward.  That could have been that guys first time out on the road doing the job not in a learning setting.  We're too quick to judge in this instant gratification media era.

Eh theres no reason that he couldnt have got that out of there. I would at least thinking that he would stop for a min and try to think of a way that he could pull it out without totally trashing the car.

If you read the news at all, you'd know that a LOT of NYC hasnt even been plowed once yet.
