I think the point of that post was 'Americans play foreign sports, so why can't foreigners play American ones'?

nearly your whole post was about that. it doesnt matter who invented what sports, only that nationality shouldnt decide who can play a sport.

No you just didnt understand it, my point was that the british have invented all these sports but so many foreign people now play them, its really not a difficult point to grasp so im not surprised you didnt get it.

if you wanna personally insult people go do it somewhere else.

you are (now) saying your point is exactly what i said, if your point was indeed that then you put it accross very poorly.

I think the point of that post was 'Americans play foreign sports, so why can't foreigners play American ones'? The American habit of liking those sports coming originally from Britain opposes the 'America for Americans' part as hypocrisy.

At least, that's how it seems to me.

You know, technically speaking the most american thing is anything non-american, considering that this country began though immigration, and was always a mixing pot . Therefore, america for americans (intentional unuse of uppercase btw) is america without americans. Is your head spinning enough yet?

indeed the native americans have far more right to call themselves american. they were there much longer.

science currently believes that the human race spread out from africa, so there are no true americans.

a value judgement has to be made on how far back you have to go before you are no longer an immigrant.

If you were born in America, and your family immigrated legally, then you are no longer an immigrant. At least, it's that or its second generation.

Isn't the whole point of the immigration process the idea that once someone immigrates to a country, they're a citizen of that country?  There's no need to pass judgment over the issue.

It seems like this thread no longer has a reason to be posted in.  People are just getting upset over it.

if i was ever gonna get a car it would be a honda, they are priced well and break down less and parts are easily available.
