New forum bugs, issues, hiccoughs and stuff

Lists are behaving strangely.

[li]This is a well-formed list item line[/li]
[li]So is this one[/li]

[li]This is a well-formed sub-item[/li]
[li]So is this[/li]
[li]An intermediate line[/li]

[li]An attempt to make a sub-list with a specific list method[/li]
[li]But it doesn't seem to work[/li]

as far as i know lists are broken. they don't work for anyone, pretty sure it's been reported earlier in this thread.

I checked this thread before posting and after your reply, but I didn't see it reported. Maybe elsewhere in this forum?

Interesting, you're correct. i'm certain it's been reported in the forum, must've been in another thread as you say.

the forum uses normal phpbb syntax for lists, which is

Not sure if already mentioned, if yes just skip this post and think about how lazy i am:

The page (1, 2, ...) buttons at the bottom of a topic, would be nice to have them back on top as well.

Ok this is odd I am both logged in and a guest right now. Im getting only a login option when clearly I already am. It just switched just a few minutes ago. No way for me to logout.

in the account popup there should be an option for deleting board cookies.

it's quite possible that the account button is missing due to the bug, so you can use this link:
//www.fleetops.net/forums/ucp.php?mode=delete_cookies

then refresh the page and you should be logged out.

if not then manually delete all the cookies from fleetops.net (firefox makes this reasonably easy, i'm not sure about other browsers. for firefox go to privacy tab of options then show cookies then search for fleetops.net and delete all that appear.)

Got an interesting one here.

So i'm just walking along, minding on my own business, looking at the unread forum topics page, and then it's listing a single unread thread that was started years ago.

it's saying doca necrod it today, but when i click the link:
//www.fleetops.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5934&view=unread#unread

things get weird. the page displays really poorly, stripping many graphics out, but not avatars or very simple formatting (such as text colour). pretty much everything else is gone. and there's no post by doca, the thread is still very much dead.

also going to that page doesn't mark the thread as read. i had to clear it from my list by marking the entire general board as read.

the thread is also at the top of the general board for me, as if it's been necrod.

I'm getting the same thing as you for that thread, Myles. It looks like the CSS just isn't there.

i dont know how it did end up in your unread topics, but the URL is missing an "s" in "forums" its "forums" not "forum".

Yet its an interesting bug, i will take a look at that

the url i put in my post is copied from the unread threads page, and it does have the letter 's' in 'forums'.

once you click it, it takes you to a page with the 's' missing.

i tried the link in my post but with '&view=unread#unread' removed and it got the right page.

it's still on top of the general board, listing the most recent post by doca on 18 july. and the link when clicking it is still the bad one in my post.
