yea, i had that feature in an internal build along with the weapons and sensor radius, but it showed just crap for most of the special weapons (due to how armada's internals work) so i left that out and put a todo up for that... ;) i'd like to have it work like that: you can have a group of vessels ...

you seem to try to install stock armada 2 first. that is not necessary for fleet operations. just insert your cd, ignore the autorun splash that comes up. run the fosetup3.exe you downloaded from this site and follow it's instructions.

no, the animation sprites are not the cause of it. even if you entirely disable the explosion animation, the slowdown still is present. the chunks are responsible for the slowdown alone.
