Wippien, better than Hamachi!

What does 'VPN not established yet mean?'. I myself am shown as offline in Wippien.

Edit: Wrong,i can see myself as contact on the Wippien client offline, but my client is online. I just don't get it.

Ähm and i currently cant find the chatroom. It is scessible via the Vippien client, isn't it?

'VPN not established yet mean?' means there is a problem to get vpn connection. pm me on wippien

u need jabber account at wippien.com to access chatroom

Ive added people but everyone is offline. If i scroll over someone it says
"Requested authorisation"

at the bottom is says "online - connected to server"

any tips?

I believe im having the same problems as others


EDIT: ok just managed to connected to zebh, guess i have to wait to others accept friend request. If u want to test it out throw me a request "kingyflops"

Give it time, as I am not at home, I am sure others haven't been either, so no accepting friend requests yet  :blush:

There is a small problem with this wippien. The VPN requires that (at least the host?) has to be on dmz, on direct internet connection or have opened a huge range of ports from nat

zebh did u still have hamachi on? i was able to to play no problem with some other players.

it could be, that wippien bugged because you still had hamachi. try deinstalling hamachi or disabling the network adapter of hamachi, and see if it works then.

I had hamachi uninstalled before I posted (I did notice that both programs use same port range for vpn clients)

I can't connect if I am not in dmzor have direct internet connection without nat

Edit: I did discover that the Wippien allocates ports dynamically, so it would requre a huge range of ports to be opened from nat
