Howdi folks,

For all the guys that would like to meet on Teamspeak² having verbal communication going on with others who also talk too much...just list your TS login datas here. For TS newbs I assure you Teamspeak² software is save and free (dl and use). Just download it HERE, add all the servers listed in this thread and you hopefully will find others for having a chat or a game on one of them. GL HF

Hhmm... I like how the teamspeak topic has ads for teamspeak.  Google ads creep me out.

Edit:  Ok, the ad went away, but I'm still creeped out that they can use their search engine to design ads for us.

And great idea about the TS servers.

I managed to connect anonymously to server #1, but server #2 gives an error. You sure it doesn't need registration before use?

The adds are not from FireFox, but from the TeamSpeak client, so an addon for FireFox is useless.


Steps for connecting to TS server #1:

Install TS (duh!) and start it.
Select "Connection" menu, "Connect" option. NOT "Quick Connect".
Right click on "Servers" and left click on "Add Server". Fill the following:
Server address: 217.172.177.10:8768
Nickname: Your Nickname goes here. I suggest to use the same as the FO login.
Click on "Anonymous" and leave "Server password" blank.
Default channel: "A2 : Fleet Operations" everything within the quotes, but not the quotes themselves

That's it. Click on the "Connect" button, and you will log in into the Server and tuned to the FO channel.

Well, now it's stickied, and I spoke to snapshot_9 through TS #1.

Actually, I was checking how well stock A2 went with TS and he got in...

Hehe, Jan should probably consider unsticking the Tournament Page in that case, because ironically although the site there no longer works, the very very ancient tournament site is still up (from 2004) - of course, since Eufnoc, Cairo, and PD are no longer active, no one can access it or use it in any case 

@Megaman: yeah, a Teamspeak server was done a few years back, and there were a few other services that were proposed within the last year too I think

Ye I have to ask the second server admin whats going on. But the first one is working and already in use. I'll be there tonight (in approx. 5-7 hours fom now on).
feel free to add your own server addresses if one of u have one.

Most people haven't joined it yet, I'm sure.  I will soon.  It'll take some time and some promotion for people use it.  And not everyone will use it for speaking, but for the chat function, probably.

Hey Jan, there looks like there's an option to send text messages to the channel, but I couldn't do that.  Was it because I was the only one there?  Being able to do text chat would be a huge plus.  Being able to talk to everyone at once is what some of us were looking for, I know.

Ugh, Mal and I just tried this and it seems... pretty useless. Can't even talk to the entire channel I think. Think I'll stick to programs that have more versatility and are even bundled together

Tried to log pnto TS today and TS is not connecting.  Woundering if it is down or what i might be doing wrong.  Followed instructions but im just not connecting.
