i think everyone and their cat knew otp and dragonfire would win with their practised and perfected leahval/scube+probe rush, but either we play and lose or don't play at all. tourney was just for fun, i didn't lose a wager or anything.

I'm not sure what others think, but I think we can call this format of tournament a success. Thanks to clintsat for putting it on.

Hey there, i just stoped in to apoligise to funny and everybody else, my parents unpluged the net about a half hour before i was to begin. like i said clint, i have the absolute worst luck with tourneys :(

yeah i think it was good fun. although this one barely got going due to timing issues, i dont think making it bigger would work unless it was a multi week thing.

Just to get some ideas flowing...  What kind of format do you all like?  The multi-week group format or the quicker one-day events?

I like the format where you post the replays right now!  :D

...Actually, it sounds like this worked great.  Unfortunately it started at 3 am here, if you do another one I'd like to request it be a bit later so it's during the American day.

I would also like to see evaluation from this tourney...maybe we can put together a list of favorite strats that people used - even though we already expect some specific things here. Evidence could help to argue better for or against certain things that come up regularly in the forum.
