Every team that takes part in this small tournament can defeat us, they are all good players. And - as has already been pointed out, it is a team-tournament where you need teamplay in order to win - so Old Time and I have not played together so far and it will require time to get used to each others' playstyle.
Therefore i recommend not to be too sure about the outcome, I am not as i think every team has a realistic chance to win. I expect very hard and close matches.

It's not like it's a done deal by any means, but my guts tells me that it's like Rangers FC and Celtic FC teaming up against Dundee United and Heart of Midlothian.

It's been a long time since a 2v2 style tourney has taken place (before my time at least).  We don't know what will happen.

Great thing is that it should be fun, quick, and if successful, just the beginning!

a 22 a side football match? 2 goalies in each goal? or 4 goals on the pitch?

either way i'd bet on the shittier teams there, celtic and rangers are fierce rivals, they'd never coordinate.

^ That there is a Fleet Ops match.

(I only chose the Celtic and the Rangers because their dominance in the Scottish Premier League is unmatched virtually anywhere else in competitive sports. Not the perfect metaphor, it it serves its purpose.)

yeah that is true, the only example that comes to mind is madrid and barcelona in la liga, and that's to a lesser degree.

Drrrrrr wrote:I don't think so...I think the team with better Leavhal, Scube/Dode, S2/B5, Fed roll ... skills will win. And here OTP and Dragon are way superior...Borg and Rom is a painfull strategy if you ask me.

In sum it will be almost as boring as the tournament in summer I guess...

The saddest day ever, when you have to agree with Drrrrrr...

Funny thing is that in Basque, the city actually is Bilbo. Predated JRR Tolkien, obviously, but considering his background in linguistics, I wouldn't be surprised if the city had some influence in Mr. Baggins' name.

Basque in general is very interesting, but I think this is becoming a ridiculous threadjack.

ahaha that's exactly what they both did haha should have waited till the next patch so they couldn't do that, in which case neither would likely have joined.
