Well, that starting time is 3am here, but perhaps I can get on later to commentate/co-commentate?

The teams look very interesting, and pretty balanced as well.  These will be some games to remember 

As for bets... that's tough, but I think I have to go with Funny and Crisis.  Put me down for an invisible beer.

Arash with borg and cyrax with dominion... thats alot of early game offensive firepower....

OTP and Dragonfire on the same team? Unless someone has Dom hiding in their pocket, I think I can guess which way this is ending.

I don't think so...I think the team with better Leavhal, Scube/Dode, S2/B5, Fed roll ... skills will win. And here OTP and Dragon are way superior...Borg and Rom is a painfull strategy if you ask me.

In sum it will be almost as boring as the tournament in summer I guess...

It will be different once a better balanced patch is out...or in case someone creates a small mod that tweaks some of the values to make it more balanced.

It's still a team game where you can manage to do a lot of weird tactics. Many of the combinations you mentioned will be countered very hard by specific enemy lineups.

But of course Dragon and OTP are very strong players, but i doubt it will be that easy for them.

If you think something is OP, there's always something that is OP to the OP

Any reasonably competent team that double-feds against OTP + Dragonfire has an acceptable chance of taking them out. Fed/Klingon might as well, but there's a narrower set of players that can pull of the Klinks in that situation. On the plus side, it would counter the Rom's cloak-a-motion.
