Not every empire uses an interface as clear as the Federation's LCARS, why should that be changed ingame when it is only minor?

The minimap border is a texture file, so replacing it shouldn't ruin multiplayer. Could you include a seperate texture so I can put mine back as it was?

it should be possible to modify the minimap border texture without having a separate file

Hey, I was wondering about this small problem I have...


I believe that if two people were of the same Armada in a MP game, that it should in fact be posssible for the people to choose different Avatars. Just that they are restricted to the same race.

Plus maybe an MP feature where if there were two fed players, they cannot be the same Avatar. So if FunnystuffPictures was Mayson and Dominus was also playing, Dominus cannot play as Mayson, he'd have to choose any other Avatar that is Available.

Hmm, that's a very interesting thought Gamer... although I'm not sure how the "Armada" feature works (I know what it does, don't worry), it would seem that you have to choose the same avatar as you both share the same tech tree... maybe with the new AI that is being released (which integrates the avatars) this would be possible... however, it might be unbalanced, as both players would essentially get to use each other's avatar bonuses to completely complement gameplay. For instance, one player could entirely concentrate on Torpedo Turrets, while the other builds high powered Sovereigns and Phalanxes for the late game kill.

Well, it would go all around. So one person could be spamming griffins early game while the other player is using the Romulan spies on enemy vessels.

One person can be fleeting a half dozen Pyramids paired with his partner's Spheres fully loaded with Prime moules to drain enemy forces.

I think the benefits would be universal. So it might balance out... sortof, I think. But one major thing is that the Feds are still the strongest faction other than Borg. This should be changed soon.

Also I'd think the Ai should use their sensor arrays. I mean... I can have a cloaked Armada hiding in an AI's base for ever an they wouldn't ever take notice. This is also a problem because AI should help train people so they can have the ability to go against real players.

Aye, good points one and all :)

Don't worry about the sensor array stuff though: the cloak detect overhaul really should change things for the better :).
