Ahh sorry about the confusion. Public 1.0 actually is the latest version: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service . Private 1.2 is actually an older version. Hehe simply run the installer and voila. And yes, your voice is the V.R.A. computer.

I am not very familiar with the series, but it looks cool so I am going to try it out. I checked out the wiki, but it didn't have that much information on it. The file is currently downloading...only 19% done. Only 2 hours and 18 more minutes to go. I hope. Well I'll look forward to trying it out.

Yeah. I like those organic looking ships, and those weird looking asymmetrical ones...does anybody have any suggestions on which race is the coolest, and which ones to be first?

I usually suggest either the Zevestivan or V.R.A. as the first races to play as since they are closest to A2 in regards to how they play. In that beta they are the only two races featured though so, it will be awhile before I release the last three

My personal biased favorite race at the moment is probably the Ekoset because I like how they have one base structure that you just keep adding onto. And their beams sound epic.

Ok.... got two problems. both related...
When I was playing on a map, there were NPC units. For whatever reason they had shields, and the shield sprite was white. Shield impacts for pulses and torpedoes were white boxes. Would it help inserting temporary sprites for these until it is fixed?

Yeah the units having shields is related to the Map Editor. In FO when you place any unit in the map editor it adds shields for some reason, even Borg units. Hopefully that will be fixed in a future patch. As far as Sigma goes if that is not fixed soon then Ekoset Shield effects will show up.

May I suggest something too? I think that ships should be able to turn on their axis. Every time you need a ship to go anywhere, it has to do this big fat u-turn. It would be so much easier to have them just spin around and go the opposite direction.

It is to have more realistic physics.... though I do wish that for tight turns they turn in place then move.

strange when i place noxter using map editor they dnt have shields
