Sigma Private Beta now available for FO users

Hello everyone. I am happy to announce that a private beta of Sigma is now available for Fleet Ops users as well as anyone else interested in downloading. I owe many thanks to Dom and Mal for beta testing and helping to balance out this mod.

Anyways, 1.0 is now available to the public as well. Here's the download link: Sigma - Public Beta

To install simply run the installer. Be sure install it in a new folder and NOT to install it over Fleet Ops... that will probably cause a bit of corruption if you do that

Hehe, because players need Fleet Ops installed for it to work so.... they'd technically be an FO user at that point

ahh i see. still fleetops download is easy enough. i will install separate fleetops install just for sigma test.

just had a game, looks very promising i like the soundtrack a lot. looking forward to play the other factions, but the VRA is fun

Also be sure to get the missing SOD that I attached in the first post.... I have no clue how it was never thrown into that download.

I had some bad experiences with betas that weren't my fault. It isn't personal, rather you should blame some of the other beta mods that I tried (I forget because I remove them often). All I remember is crash after crash.

If it doesn't offend you, can I wait until version Delta?

there is no such thing as a delta there are alphas which are internal releases that is software thats still in the design phase. Followed by betas which are released to the public in order to help the devs find bugs and after that comes the release.

Hehe I have taken no offense. Though so far it seems the only bugs that have made it through are a few missing tooltips and a crash caused when you exit the game... that exit crash I find funny. You can just wait for the sigma version of Sigma.
