Yes, you are damn right. Something is VERY VERY screwed up on the site right now. RIGHT AFTER I MADE THE FRIGGING BACKUP TOO!

I can't log in and do anything, and everything appears in double.    >:(

Yeah. I got the same alert by Avast when trying to access the online version of the guide.

It states "JS:ScriptPR-inf [tri]", which points to some JavaScript in the page as guilty of trying to force a Trojan in the system. Some unscrupulous advertising sites do include JavaScripts in their ads and links that are used to force download trojan into computers.

It could be a false positive, but, as a JavaScript is plain text, it's unlikely.

EDIT: Or your account could have been hacked.

Ok, all links are removed to the site for now to try and avoid people getting whatever is on there. I'm really sorry this happened--either somebody hacked it just for kicks, or I can start thinking paranoid thoughts.

In case anybody is curious what is going on, most likely the issues that people were and are experiencing are due to the hosting service having some problems (Zebh tells me it is highly unlikely that the online version could have been distributing viruses of any kind--so that was most likely an artifact of some other issue). Hopefully once their problems are resolved, the guide will be back up and capable of fulfilling your desires.

Are you sure it isn't a denial-of-service attack? Or maybe a data worm? Very few sites had problems that I just observed...

What is it with you and ridiculous 1 vs 5 scenarios that anyone can do?   You say that stuff all the time.  And the answer is load up version 3.5 and spam Luspets, abusing field of fire...

As for the guide issue... all sites that were hosted by the service are currently down, and the hosting service site has put forth a "we are undergoing maintainance to fix exploits" message. Hopefully it'll be back up in a week

Heya, can I be a pain and point out that in the Romulan intelligence section there is no mention of the Griffin?  The Saeihr is there though... not that I'm obsessed with them or anything.  meh, I know that all the intelligence things are kinda incomplete so just nitpicking

Incidentally, information about the Griffin can now be found on the guide, along with a host of other "intelligence" information
