TMP, deal with it, there will be TMP ships in the game, u should be jumping for joy, not going about derailing every thread in the galaxy.

And for your information, I actually want TMP ships in the game probably more than you do (hell, i once was leader of a TMP-era mod), but it's just not going to happen. I can accept that.

Now, i'm just going to leave this here, because im not the kinda person who just posts flames all the time. I'm gonna carry on posting nicely like before.

I have accepted it too. I accepted it like a month ago. It's people like you, the admiral, and a few others who continually call them weak and ugly and I dont stand for that. Yeah their weak and maybe ugly but so are alot of ships. Of course if you guys answer every single one of my posts this is going to go on for awhile so how bout blaming yourselves, hmm?

obviously this mod is designed for only online play, otherwise talk of balance wouldn't be a big deal, I like playing single player game Theres much better online games to play than armada and from a single player sense, balance isn't a big deal, Having warp and the credits removed in single player will make it a fun game.

There should be the options for single player and multiplayer, I didn't know people were even bothered about playing it online it just doesn't strike me as a worthy multiplayer game when its competeing with the likes of UT, CS, AASF and the C&C series.

I've uninstalled the mod now because its so frustrating in game but im really dissapointed, the ships and gameplay was brilliant but the lack of warp and a restrictive credit system severyly ruined the mod. I know people will disagree with me but im just voicing my opinion.

Whats the legality of altering the mod? if i was to alter it and add in warp and remove credits would i be breaching some sort of user agreement?

i dont think that the missing warp-like-movement(cause its no warp at all) and the creditsystem (which brings more strategy in, the other stuff) would kill the fun... if thats so, go play your c&c... where u dont got any of that features, but its sooo good from your point of view

and i dont think that the modders like the idea of _altering_ their "baby", 'specialy if u want to put it somewhere on a server that other ppl can dl it, and who´s sayin that u won´t do that, even if u say u wouldn´t

there is no problem with altering the mod, there never was, just contact me and we can work out the details, of course there is an authorisation 'required', which is infact very recommended to do so. taking other ppl's work without asking or replacing credits is not tolerated from many users on the internet...
we thought the same on the 'warp' feature as kl0k said. so if you want to have this feature back either make an private mod or make one public, but pls contact me first incase you want to make your mod public just that we have an formal agreement (i also would be happy about it cause there are other ppl who want this feature in fleet operations)

We all know this game can't possibly compare to legends such as Counter-Strike or never ending C&C but this mod definatly gives them a run for their money as far as I'm concerned. I for one will miss the Warp but can look past it. This is one of the greatest TCs I've seen yet.

ok i'm new here and i just wanted to say 2 things:
1. YOU POEPLE ARE SOOOO WIERD! (just joking of course )
2. for the credits problem what about the avatar thing, like ex. if you picked one avatar it would give you x amount of credits, if you picked a different avatar it would give you n amounts of credits
so happy discusing this idea!

I think that will already be a feature of the avatars. That one may give u an extra credit or 2.

for avatars, i was also thinking about the warp, i mean, the different avatar you choose could give you either no warp or warp, but less weapons or vice versa... or somehthing like that.

p.s. see how long it took to argue the opinians of credits, and it was ended in 1 post lets see about the warp shall we?

No they wont put warp back in, for some reason they think it's a bad idea. I've gotten used to not having warp and you will too in time, it has certain advantages and disadvantages.
