And yes it does remove strategy. Without warp, you have to have ships escorting freighters, and a fleet defending your base, aswell as your invasion fleet. With warp, you can do that all with one fleet, because you can warp and defend your freighter convoys from attackers, warp back to base just as the enemy fleet arrives, and then warp to the enemy base within a minute.
Just get over it, it aint gonna be in FO. Learn to play the game without being dependant on warp drive.

Ahem. It was Doca and Optec's decision to take Warp OUT. I think I can safely guess that it is not coming back. If it is, I will take it out myself.

lol it's hilarious people can't get over the fact that warp is normal, it was in A2 and it's not gonna ruin you. Hell I perfer the game without warp but still it should have an option to turn it off and on. Think about others besides yourselves.

I do agree that warp drive is an essential part of Star Trek, but it does remove strategy. And like they said, it is their decision.

ok well if warp isnt going to be enabled at least do something about that credit thing. Warp i can live without but i really cant play with that credit thing there, I understand its benefits for multiplayer games but for single player games its a serious restriction. Im not saying remove it completley coz it would be good for MP games but there should be a way to turn it off

Credits give you good ships for FREE!!! If you have 20, you can get too much special technology and ships. Credits don't restrict normal ships, they restrict special tech and ships. They can give you a very powerful ship for FREE, godd tech like Fusion Cubes and Command Cubes, the best ship in-game (The Romulan Tavara, which costs credits and resources), superweapons, and various other powerful things. This balances out the game.

yeah but there no harm in disabling it for people who like long games and having multple bases on one map or extra research stations just incase one gets destroyed. I like playing as the borg and as the borg i assimilate at least one of the enemys construction ships and build up a base of the enemy, if im lucky ill capture a construction ship for each species on the map

This makes the mod unbalanced. The Credit Count will not be changed. This has been said on multiple occasions. I can guess that credits will not be removed. Even as an optional.

Its been said over and over, More credits means, for example the borg that they can get all tech and that is verry unfair. Unlimited special ships, thisa is crazy talk. If you dont like the cedit system than change it on ur own cuz itisnt going to be chnaged for the mod officialy.

Credits are fine as they are, don't let me get more then 2 sabatage stations. As for warp I cant believe people are against as bringing it back as an on/off button. It wouldnt change 1 thing for all you people against it.

It would do one thing: Delay whatever Beta it is put into. I do not want that. I doubt that anyone does.

What warp? I'm about to go crazy, people calling it uncannon, stupid, ruins everyones strategys. I don't care, it deserves to be in this mod and it should have an on/off toggle, if cts or Valorous answer this post with the same jibberish i've been seeing then i'm just gonna laugh. I have seen nothing that will impeed the game with warp and with a toggle they don't have to play with it anyway.
