I dont know about balance.... i'v been playing fleet ops with a friend online
all ican say is ZOMGWTFPWNTBBQ!!! 20 tac cubes VS over 112  federation starships "and" a starbase with 13 pulse turrets around it... all he lost was 15 cubes

You must have been playing for hours... and I'm betting the amount of units made microing close to impossible.

yea... we were gonig for 3hr's and I was having fun holding him off at my wromhole till he researched some kinda anti federation pwnage... then things went down hill from there 

I'm not saying starfleet can't beat the borg... 
I got my revenge by turning off the fog and rushing him with warpins.. but in a prolonged fight I jsut felt like while it was VERY cannon it was also very "futile"

oh yeah, just won a 2v2, and then defeated mal and cbo in a ffa, twas awsome

yep id love one, i just defeated mal again, lost only 2 ships, which were mining and contruct, he seemed a bit tired tho, and big reason he lost, i cus i got lucky detecting his fleet with cloak detection,

smaller romulan ships that got detected with there sheilds down+ plasma coil=dead

let me just say i love feds, feds are perfect there awsome

omg what the hell was i thinking

well the new ray also features a good line up of other bonuses, and since dominus taghut me some stuff, and i improved it, i have been 6-0 a 3v3 2v2 3 pplayer ffa and 3 1v1s

and sorry if i come off like im bragging, im just happy i can actually beat somebody now

  Actually, Voyager is my favorite series. I guess I'm not much of a thinker...
