but then again the FO team has done all sorts of things with armada that i still say are impossible so there is hope yet...

Yeah someone DID make a prommie split. And stop talkin like you know what your talking about, because you don't appear to.

How much brain power do you have to consume to realise when a prometheus splits, each of the 3 sections has it's own weapons therefore you can compare it to 3 small ships.

The prometheus split could be done and the best way i can think of is using an animation of it spliting into three pieces have these pieces animated so it flies round and then goes back to where it should be. It is quite tricky to do but not imposible, I cant do it however as i have milkshape not 3DS Max which you need to animate SODs. this would all be just 1 click of a weapon that would get the ship the right distance from theres then run the animation. I quite like the idea but it requires the prometheus in FO to do it :P .

PD i DO KNOW because i have dl and tried every prometheus class i could find for A2. and for your information just about all of them split up ... its the getting them to reintergrate is something that still needs work. if you READ what i had posted you would already know that. -_- :hmmm: :blink:

Cant it be done sort of like galaxy saucer seperation and reintegration, that worked ok I think :S

yep, that was kinda cool, and reintegration could be done like the fusion cube, and it wouldn't matter which section is from which ship

well did you ever use the seperation step of the galaxy? i found it useless

@hypercube interesting idea maybe it can work like that probably take a lot of twecking though. :)

@baron i think maybe the people who tried to do this first probably modified the galaxy seperation/intergration process. maybe it doesn't work right because theres 3 pieces instead of 2. :unsure: tried one of again today... the saucer and middle section reintergrated but the bottom part just kept replicating itelf every time you press the reintergration button. :huh:

BTW are there any plans to put the galaxy's seperation into v3 or any other version?? :D cos i did find it quite useful in that it gave enemy ships (particully the cubes) more targets to shoot at :D

Back on the Prometheus, the original Spec Wep idea sounds neat. As far as how the ship goes though, my personal favorite is the one from STvsSW. Awesome model, insanely good weapons complement....perfect ship. And not stupidly large like an ISD, SSD, or Excalibur. Multi-targeting phasers and torps were the rule for that ship, for those of you who don't know.

About that fusion cube , as far as I know u cant refuse it, so I think u get scout cubes from fusion cube.

As far as I know.....
