I like the design of the Diligence, it's something new. The Excalibur too is good, fitting for the "command ship" role (new warp-in catagories needed? Nah...).
Sovereign- and Galaxy-X are okay but a little into the realm of kitbashes - it's been discussed before, and things like extra nacelles just aren't necessary, so they're out.
Time ships like the Wells are just asking for trouble, although it would be fantastic (nostalgia
) to see the Premonition appear sometime later (single player campaign, I'm thinking).
The promethius is nice as well, and it has to go in eventually when there's a proper use for the separation - but it isn't a battle ship in the sense that the Sovereign and Galaxy classes are. They're both >600m in length, so the Prometheus (closer to the intrepid's 300m) really doesn't fit into the warp-in style.
So... without knowing anything about her yet, I voted Diligence. I hope she doesn't turn out be a disappointment
(But the idea of a small warp in ship is doable!)
Yeeesss, but the two on the saucer section are retracted (ie not in use) until separation. I'd class it as a four-nacelled ship really.

What does the length of the ship have to do with being a warp-in?
Excelsior is available.... it's prob. close to the same size as the prometheus. So I fail to see the point.

I dont know.... to be honest i'd kinda like more effort on adding ships from the shows befor adding more future tech "cough" "cough" Excelsior Lakota Refit "cough"
but if i had to make a choice... Galaxy X, atleast it was in TNG

Fine if you want to be like that they are retracted when the ship is joined and hence the ship still only has 4 visible nacelles.

anything but the Excalibur

X refits look like crap imo. The Galaxy is already a verry outdated design, and the sovereign looks better as it is now. The Excalibur is a ambasador mk2, wo i don't really like it. The diligent class on the other hand is something absolutly amazing. It's design is verry high tech, it makes the federation feel like they are evolving in design and not just recycle things arround, and with some cool features it could be an awsome warp in vessel. But then again it all depends on the team
.

When does something look high tech? If it looks more edgy, smoother, more geometric, less geometric? I believe calling a design looking high tech without knowing what technological benefits the design implements is a lottle bit foolish.
But indeed it looks amazing, and it fits the modern design evolution of the federation which tends to more edgy constructions like prometheus, defiant and non-canon ares.
@exodus_499
Well the prometheus is at least in the same size as the akira, but the diligenter has only 86 meters in length, which is far less than a sabre and even the deadalus. I don't belive a small ship to have the power of a descent class. It would have to be nearly as strong as a 8472 ship then, which is most unrealistic. The diligenter would be interesting when warped in in groups of 5.

How is the Galaxy outdated? About 25 years is not outdated!
Galaxy-X is doing well in the polls. Started out with a heavy lead, overtaken, now it's back as a tie. Diligent is the only ship keeping up with Galaxy-X and Excalibur for some reason...
