then as i said, your post proves what i was saying - it correctly cites dadonna and mentions half the fleet as referring to the imperial fleet, making it more formidable still.. maybe we were talking at cross purposes.

As regards the sources, regardless of the claim, bias is all too convenient an excuse to dodge a direct rebuttal.

Besides, what makes you think your site is any less biased than any other... cos it tells you what u want to hear 

so in  the end, your "last quote" wasnt as final as you would have liked

It's just as biased, I'll be honest.

And my goal was to show that it was in fact increasing the power of the station because if it had half the power of the rebel starfleet...well joke station imo.

All sites are biased. stardestroyer.net & st-v-sw.net are not close to being the worst. st-v-sw.net is just the only one I found that actually uses something close to evidence.

I said "if" they were true lasers ARES IV.
The reason they couldn't hit the fighters was because the turrets/beams couldn't move fast enough (remember in the "first" movie?)
The Star Wars ships seem to aim just fine given how the battle of Endor was going etc
(Remember the superlaser... or even the turbolasers taking out the shield generators of Leia's blockade runner)

Lasers or not - they are rather unprecise. Very thin changes of shooting down a torpedo.

And of course they aim... everyone does. But aiming and hitting is something completly different.
