the plasma torps used in the SFC series do have that loss of power feature and i think in other games aswell

that is trow but it mite not be posabule to do that in armada2. fleetops is a fucher mod and it is posabule than the romulands desined a Heavy Plasma torpedo that that duss not loss pawer over distance.

slitly weeker a bit slower less rage and whood be a speshal wepon. it whood be usafule for atacking stations and terits.

plasma torpedo in reality is weeker than the triycolbolt as for as i know. and it is old technolagy. and i dont wont it two strong that mite tip the ballise of the game.

Rommies could have plasma torps, its a good idea and as far as I know these torps are stronger than quantum but weaker than tricobald I think its something in the middle

yes but thes are Heavy Plasma Torpedose that do more damge than the ones in the game thay whood be a sepshal wepond.
