Second World War Actually.

The Allied forces were a hodgepodge of ships in the beginning.

Flush Decked Destroyers.
Ancient <30 Knot BB's.
The Destroyer Escorts were a hodgepodge in themselves!

And I do believe it was classified a Dreadnought.

Ummm WWII used ships built before WWI even started, which i'm sure were differant enough to be considered frankenstein.

And it both functions and is classified as a Dreadnought.

First off, they wern't NEARLY as different as the Yeager on Elkins types.

And second, it is classified as an Explorer. END OF DISSCUSION.

p.s. did either of you ever bother to check my sources, or were you too busy arguing with everything I said?

*Opens back up discussion with his uberness*

Go look at a Liberty or Victory class ship and tell me if a ship made out of concrete wasen't odd.

It IS classified as a Dreadnought, end it.

The Yeager and Elkins used COMPLETELY ALIEN AND INCOMPATABLE COMPONENTS. The very idea that they would function is LUDACROUS. WW2 ships WORKED, be they hodgepodge of state of the art.

And PD I already did end it, whether you like it or not.

Perhaps the Galaxy 3 should replace the original Galaxy?

No no no no no The Sovi texture doesn't fit onto a round shape like the Galaxy it just looks stupid, sorry but that is what a kitabsh is, the Sovi shape is why the texture works, can you say sleek? the G3 doesn't make sence as a fed ship, the feds don't make top of line ships from 2 completly different ship concepts ussally It is non cannon, and the galaxy works just as well,

Quite frankly, I just can't stand you.

-To Dark Angel: It COULD replace the Galaxy-1, but that's just the kind of fed-boosting were trying to avoid.

-To FullPhaser: I think that's an original texture BASED on the sovy texture... this isn't a simple kitbash, someone put some time and effort into it

Also, look at the makover the Constitution got when it was refitted. Who's to say the Galaxy wouldn't get a similar overhaul? Plus, you gotta admit this looks better than the Galaxy-X...

Not really, you don't have to go into lets say milkshape (this is a joke folks remember that) and go open you sovi and rip those textures, instead it is the general look and feel, I am sure they are orginal textures, but they are from the Soveriegn lineage and there origin is clear, did the Enterprise overhall use the same deflector, Nacelles, nothing, everything on the ship was a better looking unique new hall texture that fit the lineage, not some features from its old texture reincorperated, Same principal, The galaxy design does not fit with the Soveriegn texture, it is just an anacronysm

Fullphaser, hypothetically, if you were in charge of the refiting program for the ASDB, and tasked to find the best possible design to model the new sytems after, what would you chose? Would you have your engineers spend months, mabye even years, finding a new, but untested and therefore unreliable design, or go with the already proven and highly succesful Sovreign design?

Heh, quite frankly I can't stand your mom redshirt, shes always naggin in the bedroom

Quite frankly, I wasn't talkin' to you. Obviosly, you're come to the inevitable realization that I'm better than you, so you've started taking cheap shots on my mom that don't even mean anything... I didn't think even YOU would stoop so low...

Enough of the flame war both of you, take this to pm please. anyway the point is you can not simply take something like the sovi texture type and stick it on a ship that does not fit a basic sovi shape (ie elongated and oval rather than circular) in order to apply the texture like the "supposed" titan or whatever the sod artist thought he or she was creating it does not fit the standard even as a Kitabash (which is what the G3 is)
