Actually, we don't know whether they are exactly the same, because we only caught a glimpse of the Dreadnaught. Of course, they are the same CGI model, but if you go by that logic, there IS no Dreadnaught, it was only a scaling error. ;)

If you go by THAT logic there is only 1 bop as well :S But we all know that aint true :P
It makes scence they made a new battleship design as the first one had a flaw and maybe they made it bigger in the proccess too :P

@Casper: Why would it hurt?

he called your favorite ship a scaling error. maybe it's just me, but if my favorite ship was called a scaling error i'd be a little upset.

So what logic do you go by then? :P

Even if the dreadgnought is a scaling error than my fav ship is the battleship, it DOES exist and it IS VERY VERY strong. :P

The logic that I go by is that there IS a Dreadnaught, but we don't know the finer details of what the hull looks like because we only got a glimpse of the ship.

I think that it would look even cooler if it was diffrent, even if only just a bit, from the Battleship...

lol, you're thinking about the BATTLESHIP that the Valiant took on. It's only about 1600 meters. Were talking about the 5000 meter Dreadnaught that you only see for a couple seconds during "What You Leave Behind"(DS9)!

He thinks ships that are dreadnoughts, arn't dreadnoughts, and ships that arn't dreadnoughts ARE dreadnoughts.
