We're not arguing about prototypes here, we are talking about switching your dominion miners to construction ships and vice versa!

Well I was under the impression that you made a faulty reply to my statement, whatever then... :D

Ah yes, the prototypes... Its not really that bad once you get out of the early game and have multiple yards. What's most important is that you the first choice right, once that first yard goes down.

A bad idea for example would be doing a b-8 vs, federation. That choice so horribly wrong that even a saber spam can kill him... which happened to an ally of mine today... :ermm:

ya its like to dominion have less room for error then the other races .....on the other hand one might say that its a huge loss for a romulan player to lose a ship ....this is true but they have cloak and often they get to pick there battles....any who i have found that the fed are the easiest race for the dominion to face.

the borg give the dominion a hard time at the start ....but they can be beaten via b-8 and b-5

the klingons kvort is rather nasty vs the dominion as it forces them to go for the large yard

and dont even get me started on them crafty romulans there first ship the Rhienn does well vs bug's, c-11, bombers, Breen Cruiser ...and is "ok" vs the s-2 .......and i could write a book on the Leahval lol.

No, the dominion have no room for error whatsoever, every little thing you do wrong will propably get you killed in the start.

But when you advance to a later stage is where the things ease up for you, propably has something to with either the mammoth ships comming out of your yard or the ridiculous number of small ships you have that go beyond a spam into a full scale troll! :woot:

Crisis, lets not make this personal, shall we? We all know what happened when you tried to take on the dominion the last time. You got so frustrated that you took it out on a noob. >:(

Personally, I hate duels. It is where the gross imaballances of all the races' ships are brought up the most.

No No No, you got it all wrong, but i won't even try to explain it here, long stroy.

And i'm A Duelist simply because in a Duel its all about strats and micro, in team games its about cordination and being in the right place at the right time, nothing is in my conrtol in a team game.

dont mean to jump into this heated debate but I would like to disagree in a team game you still have stradegys and micro just at a much higher level, you just add coordinating to the mix as well.

But agreed duels are much more about how quick you are and how well you can micro. stradegy is much the same cripple there recources till you have a large enough fleet to wipe them out or till they quit.

Well if you wipe them out then they don't have to quit anymore, do they?

... team games are generally harder to micro. You might quickly find yourself frustratingly tapping the "R" on your keyboard to keep from being gangbanged with ally's reinforcement nowhere to be found.

I meant the quit as like ok i have no ships now and he has 10 im gonna quit cause i no i lost lol not o shit im dead i quit. and yea between having to fly a great distance for a repair or your ship getting literally stuck inbetween a bunch of ships and not being able to move and being blown up anyway there can be a bunch of annoyances.

Yes I would agree that some situations might be as bad that warrant a "gg" to be made but as a dominion, but not if you at least repel the enemy and your allies remain strong and stand ready to help you at a moments notice. Dominion can get more ships on the board in no time.

It happened to me several times. I've been shattered by a triple team mass assault but my allies repelled the attacking force from finishing me completely. My enemies have given me up for dead and... surprise, surprise, I came out of nowhere and cleaned the place out! :woot:

So although it requires technical precision, the dominion can be a resilient race if handled properly.

In truth that could be true of any faction but a comeback with another faction may not be as easy. even just some support for your allies even 1 or a few ships could help.
