Thus I've said: adaption only for adaptors and only after the effort of capturing and analyzing ships. Balance is up to testing. Adaptor should prove quite useful in an 1v1. However, it was just an idea to implement adaption without overpowering it

how about an adaption beam which makes the ship near immortal to 1 class of ship when its used on that ship, but is more vunrable to other classes of ship because its adapted to that ships weapons but not to others

Well, just kidding, i hope the Borg will get something kewl ( :ermm: ), and to this day the FO team has never disappointed me (except for those ugly war cannon animation  :crybaby: ).

indeed do asome work but the game does seem like focus was put more on federation stuff over others and borg got the short end of the stick.... for the momment so cant wait to see what they do with it all and cant wait for next content update, patch was awsome to fix stuff

I really don't think borg got the short end of the stick. They only recently got a brand new module selecting interface, and two major economy rebalances.
Besides all that, they have a completely different tech-tree to all the other races and they just got a new scoutship. Just because they don't get a new ship every other patch does not mean that they are lacking in content updates. Borg don't need any content in that sense.

But you are right in that it would be nice for some minor tweaks to assimilation and/or mixed tech.

The borg are perfect at this time. The assimilate avatar as well as the optimize avatar both now offer very good alternatives to module refits and ship classes.
With the new cost structure the borg are well balanced as well. The connections feature now allows us to determine our own fleets and decide whether to hold down the house with lesser ships until we get  a quick cube or to go for more assims and spheres and then a cube later on.

Even the resources are now more aptly assigned - for instance a more tech oriented vessel will consume more tri, while a more assault oriented vessel will consume more dil.

IMO borg gameplay is very robust.

Yes, the tractor shield draining ideas that are being ventured will be good eye candy. The Twarp hub will be good eye candy, and the movement between 2 hubs on the same map will be good to see.
But other than that the borg are very well done atm and hence the "short end of the stick" is a moot point (since nothing major is needed for them).

im not saying the borg havent had there focus am saying theres still stuff need working like the visuals of flying around ships each race has except borg, and maybe find tune the assmiliation
