Warp-in Balancing
You feel like a battlecruiser is too weak or a race too strong? Go ahead and discuss it here :)

Hmm well I guess we can't argue if you say that's how you intended it.
But did you intend for it to be SUCH a boon? I mean by the middle of the game it REALLY REALLY shows a difference.

O_o I hope you mean Orion Slave women....

100 supplies for an SFC would be the same as the 2 extensions to the Klingon Field yard.

And the supply cost could even be higher. That first purchase of 250 supply is only 750 dilithium/tritanium. That's basically one sovereign. And I'm ok with it costing each time, too. But let's be clear here. The Ferengi sex slaves are sex slaves from various species owned by the ferengi. The slaves themselves are NOT Ferengi. Unless you're intentionally trying to conjure up images of Moogie on purpose or something. >:(
Crap! Ninja'ed by Optec and boggz and ISS!

Enjoy you 15 seconds of being a ninja... it probably won't happen again.

we are watching warp-in closely, and i'm sure there will be some changes with the larger fed redo. however we want to keep the free nature of it

maybe if you decide it is OP, you could increase the cooldown, it will still be free, but less powerful.

Warp-in is just fine the way it is IMO. Personally, I DO feel that a ship or two deserve a better ability or refit, like the Galaxy should get a troopship ability, with all the space on it. As I understand it though, you guys have decided that this isn't a good thing to have.... ah well. One is allowed to dream

You too can dream! At a modest supply cost... of course

Come play online with us, ISS!
The multiplayer experience is much different from playing against the AI, and it's a lot more fun, to boot!

Believe me, I'd LOVE to right about now. Unfortunately, two major problems standing in may way ATM:
1. Wippien didn't seem to like my computer. Always DC'd repeatedly, never let me get a chance to play online. May have been my computer being ond the aging side.
2. MY COMPUTER'S DEAD
FleetOps, my special A2, A1, KB Bridge Commander, ALL MIGHT BE GONE FOR GOOD

We're going out this weekend to get a new one, with much better specs. Hopefully, that friend of my mother will be able to salvage the hardrive of the old one. I have FAR TOO MUCH stuff on there to let it be gone just like that....

Ouch, that sucks.
Well, when you do start playing online, I think you'll see what we're going on about. Hopefully you'll be back up soon.

Im going to quote myself from the Nerf warp-in thread
"I think it should cost supply, but there is a research in starfleet science that is expensive and has 2 levels, both dropping the supply coun,t but never to 0"
