Besides, you are wrong.

Mijural has access to 2 Tavaras. The other Romulan avatar can only build one.

AND if the only thing you are able to use as Romulan or as Dominion are the Tavara and the Dread, I strongly suggest you to do a serious revision of your strategies.

I consider myself a mediocre player, and I can use more than just the Tavara and the Dread.

If I'm wrong, then so are you. I actually said that I wasn't after that... no different to you and your Federation Engine thing.

By the way, did you also miss the part where I called the Dreadnought useless and that removing one would make it even worse? Does that sound like someone who bases his fleet off it?

i equally suck at every race.  well, in truth i suck a little less with some races than others, but having the super ships gives me hope.

I had to mix an answer to a quote by you (tyler) about the amount of Tavaras and a post by baleful, I think.

I know you (tyler) don't base you strategies on the Dread when playing Dom. After all, accessing to it depends partly on luck (capturing a builder), unless you have an ally to provide you with the MT shipayrd from the start.

I gotta say that when reading all these posts about what you guys think needs to be changed and especially WHY ... I sometimes wonder if it's not your TACTICS instead of the race.

  Certain races are going to have distinct disadvantages on bigger or smaller maps.  I love to play Klingon and when I do I try never to let the pressure up.  With Feds it's all about controlling your opponents.  With Rommies it's all about getting every last drop out of every single ship.  With Dommies I haven't a clue cause I suck with them.

  I dunno, I feel like the mod is very well balanced with just fine-tuning left to do to make sure that people don't pick certain races exclusively when the know what map it is or what size the game is.
