Indeed!  ;).  Thus for a lot of us it means we no longer feel bad when we random them :D.  1 v 1 you can absolutely take the fight to the Feds .

I still see people making mistakes in Multiplayer though by leaving the Feds alone for too long.  Thus- they are squashed by the Federation Steamroller and they go "wwwwaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!"  :D

i dunno, i still feel bad getting feds as random, they are too easy. even now they are more balanced, they still are the race with training wheels.

although i am glad there is a simple race for the new players to use.

it just feels like there is less punishment for mistakes as feds. while the romulans are the complete opposite where every mistake will earn you a swift kick in the balls.

Officer Myles is correct here :D.

Yeah the Feds still have the lowest learning curve, but that just means now that people can get pretty good with them quickly.  Romulans in my opinion do indeed have the highest learning curve and are one of the most mistake-unforgiving races to play (with the exception of a few strategies :D).

I'd say Klingons are much worse, Boggz. One mistake and you lose your ship, since they are fragile and need ages to cloak. If you make a mistake with Roms you hide in two seconds and just try again ;).

Klingons would definatly be the worst for the more defensive players, due to their unique 'attack for supply' element.

I know a fleet-ops faction that is more underpowered than the Federation.  The Borg.  Take out the collective connections and they'll be just about perfectly balanced for a 2v1 or 3v1.

Lol well you can't just take out the collective connections without something else to replace it .

Borg are up for a redo soon.  Hold your horses :D

I am underpowered, I would like some more offensive value in the next patch.

We could use the accumulated collective connections to gain resources.  So they will still have some purpose.  Just not the purpose they used to serve.  I know what the result of taking out the connections would be.  First vessel as sphere, diamond, or cube.  Trust me, I know what I'm asking for.

Speaking of which, maybe make it so that assimilated vessels can be commissioned by docking with a Borg vessel or station other than the adaption matrix.

I recommend offensive value 13 firebreath, and implanted bat'leth in his forearms for another 5 offense.  Then, to round him out, dermal plating at a defense bonus of 5 (non ablative) and reduce speed by 5 due to added weight.

Finally, increase Megadroid's tritanium cost by 75.

also cap him at 1.
