Bortas too strong?

Me too. This whole thread was stared because for about 5 games, in a row, my team managed to make a huge, and I mean huge, comeback in each game (we were losing terribly  ) just because of the Bortas. Konsumat got really frustrated, and so I made this thread.

Well, as I recall it was because of the BortaS mixed with the Qaw'Duj

bortas with qawduj now is way op, mainly because the qawduj polaron field is bugged, if you thought it stopped escape before, imagine how annoying it is now, with a 100% chance to knock out 5 ships engines lol (plus their other systems)

funny the polaron field special in 3.1.2 is bugged, that was my point.

instead of disabling ONE random subsystem each second for 5 seconds it disalbes ALL subsystems for 5 seconds on 5 ships.

the guide quite clearly lists it as cheating

in previous patches using the polaron field (which worked as intended) to keep ships in ion storm was not cheating and was superior micro and good.

EH, I always decided against using it since it was one of those infinite effect abilities... which were always really insanely evil

Yeah, I know, I just wasn't sure if it has been that way since 3.1.1 or if that was just a new error in 3.1.2
