There's nothing wrong with that. Why are people so affriad of words?   

I'm not afraid of text walls, I'm saying you guys need to learn to lay out your thoughts using fewer words.  And stop abusing the quote function!

1 year for free is better than 0 years, but still not as good as it should be. how long do people here thing a laptop should work? i think 4 years minimum.

You're thinking about business-class laptops here, that commonly last 7 years or more.

Asking for a GAMING laptop that lasts 4 years is a joke.  There are simply too many complex, heat producing components integrated with each other.  Gaming desktops regularly lose components before 4 years, but the broken part can be replaced without affecting the rest of the system.  With laptops you can't do that.  There's a healthy market for refurbished laptops made of salvaged parts, but repairing a gaming laptop can't compete with the price of getting a new one.

It's true that the candle that burns the brightest also burns the fastest.
