An assimilated Klingon, Romulan, Dominion, or Federation crew member, how would you think? What would you say differently than a simple Borg drone of unidentified origin?

Throw out those ideas folks :D

The Queen is irrelevant.  She will be recycled.  Her accessories will be recycled.  Their components will be adapted to serve the collective.  She will comply.

how do u assimilate a jemhadar? can the collective fix the issues of needing white? would it be worth fixing their white addiction just for 1 more drone. who was already a drone of sorts before, just serving a different collective.

klingons could make good tactical drones, they are strong and hard to defeat.

I think that borg nanites could synthesize it.

The question is a trick. Borg have a collective consciousness.  They wouldn't say or think anything differently.  The only thing that would change is that the knowledge of each drone is added, so they all would think slightly different with each drone addition. 'Specially if it was from a race like klingon or Jem'hadar.

I get to install implants on new drones in the slow and painful way like in that episode of Voyager and BoBW. And even if I don't get to, I'll still be helping the collective do terrible things to others. :woot: :woot:
Or is this if I were an assimilated Federation citizen who wasn't sadistic like me?
Also, it would suck if my Borg implants suppressed my sadism instead of my ability to care about people.

Could be rephrased to the Borg resistance in Voyager, or the individuals who went with Lore. Maybe even "if you were the Borg queen/king..."

I was talking to Dominus, and he was thinking along the lines of how the Borg use "spokesman" like Locutus from time to time.  For example, in the Peter David Epic "Vendetta", the Borg assimilate a Ferengi, and he becomes "Vastidar of Borg".  It's been a while since I've read the book, but I remember an encounter where the Excalibur intercepts Vastidar's cube, and Vastidar says something like, "We would like to come to an agreement with you.  You agree to lower your shields.  We agree to assimilate you." :borg:

So the question is really:  What kind of "spokesman" similar to Locutus and Vastadar could you envision from other Star Trek races?  What kind of things would they say?

So for example, a Klingon "spokesman" might say, "Today is a good day to become one with the Borg".  Or an assimilated changling (assuming it's possible, although they were susceptible to that virus) might say something like "We have found the greatest link of all."  A romulan spokesman might say, "We have found superior might in the Borg.", or "It is more brave to be assimilated than to die." :P

That's the line of thinking for this, I think.  For example, what would a vulcan spokesman for the borg say? :assimilate:
