It's not unusual in this community come accross people who understand german. Recently I was so confused that even I adressed zaxxon with german words, because there were so many german-speakers online in multiplayer that day. So I am interested if there's especially large reception of FO by germans, or if was all coincidence...

let me take a look

edit: we get only a few visits from austria and even a lot less from switzerland - germany like 10000, austria about 600 and switzerland was 30 visits the last 30 days

So it might not be a coincidence that this fantastic mod is made by Germans.

Seems we're pretty interested in Star Trek and RTS games. :)

Also alles doch kein Zufall, was? :D

Actually, a lot of game modding in general is done by Germans. Whenever a place has bilingual forums, the second forum section is German.

Im so lost in this conversation, stop picking on a poor college kid from Iowa. Like i said most of the german i know came from playing CoD at multiplayer at my friends house. However I would like to learn it, but i have heard that its very difficult for English speaking people.

Sorry, my only 2nd language is French.  I can speak and read a few phrases from like maybe 10 languages, but French is the only one I studied for a long time.  I'm not the most fluent because I don't get to practice often, but if there are any french players, I'll do my best to chat it up. :)
