all i can say is it will never happen, the countrys are ruled iron clad, they can't live with out each others economys, your forgetting we are all small countrys, and a huge porportion of wales and scotland are mountains, so they have a much smaller population than you may think, anyway this is becoming an english polatics thread and i don't want that so lets stop it here.

Thanks NieKnight. Didn't want to get an argument started, just curious. Half my family tree comes from Cornish tin miners about 130 years ago, and every once in a while the US papers pick up stories about the big arguments in the Scottish parliament about autonomy etc.
