I think the offensive profile means it will be like a standard Klingon ship as far as defense. Tuffness of a Sang maybe?

The Sang is fairly hardy for a klink, so that would be a good guess.

So can i assume that it will be a tier 2 ship like the Akira? Im so glad to see my favorite ship back i just hope it will be as amazing as its previous variation. Personally im still hoping for triloader quantum for an veteran level perk :)

I fear it will not be a x-mas present this year then :(

If you use the distortion device, how long does it last? And if the opponent set the escort to guard rather than use the fleet movement command, will it negate that? And finally, will it force the rest of the ships to go full speed? Because otherwise, with the fleet moving the same speed as the slowest ship, I can't imagine it being too horribly useful.

i think dom posted a dev screenshot on facebook here

it says that the disable lasts 3 seconds.

when a ship has its engines disabled it doesn't coast as simple physics would suggest, it slows down rapidly. if you catch the ship as it's still turning then it won't move at all. 3 seconds is enough time to stop a fast ship running away.
