go to the federation odf (data->odf->system->federation.odf and use the following command standardUnits2 = "name of odf.odf")

I can't find that particular file...

I will be creating a mega-guide to help new and old player game in 3.06. However, if you wish, the fundamentals of most factions have not changed too much, so the 3.05a guides in the Strategy Subforum are still valid (The Borg guide is not quite valid, so please ignore the BO section as I have to redo that immensely). Oh, I forgot to ask.  Do I need to install my Armada 2 CD?  I have a copy so that's not a problem.  But the first post in this thread mentions that it's not necessary.  I just wanted to be sure.

you need your cd to install and to play, but you don't need to have armada 2 installed and you shouldn't install fleetops in the the same folder of an excisting armada2 install

Anyway the borg vessels of the same chasis are not double click selectable if they have different modules was this intentinal or not

I beg to differ: I played a Fed vs Fed battle yesterday and whiped the floor with another player using a careful balance of Norways and Canaverals. At the end, when we each picked 16 ships to do combat with eachother (for testing's sake) I lost only 1 ship. You folks just have to learn how to build more balanced fleets. Norways were never the backbone of the Federation armada, and by using them as such because of the Plasma Coil's ubiquitessness, you never learned how to use the other Federation units properly I think.

I have a suggestion for a veteran ability (that can go on a ship that has a duplicate one, maybe the excelsior):
* Extended Battle Operations
    Additional energy supply systems are brought online during the course of a battle, speeding up rate of fire for the weapons when in combat
  allows fire rate to increase up to 300 percent during a battle, resets after 10 seconds of non-engagement

The race ODFs can be quite easy to miss, if you can find fed_warpinE.odf, federation.odf is the next one if your files are sorted alphabetically, followed by fedR_acs_torpedo.odf, alternatively you could just use the search feature of windows explorer.

Unlike the multimedia pack, the download link for 3.0.6 sends me to filefront, which doesn't seem to have the file. 

[EDIT] I got it from ModDB's filefront link so it must be the link on the filefront page that is bad.

noooooooo the download on filefront.com isent working for me 

i keep getting "Your download cannot be completed at this time. Please try again later by re-visiting FileFront.com." i did a search for fleet ops and it cant find any files for FO on there, is there another site where i can download it from?

One question: Do the attack values for romulan vessels represent the damage per time at the start of a fight, or when the firing rate decreaed to stable low level?

I would imagine it means when the weapons are at their standard fire rate, at the start.

First I downloaded 306 on the computer from my father and make a coby on a CD, it doesn`t started on my computer, after I downloaded it on my computer, it doesn´t started again. . .

but 3.0.0 - 3.0.5 are functioned, without any Problems
