[WIP] Aquiescent Class

So, while using this ship in some tutorials, I went ahead and added glows and such to it to make it fit in FO.  My question now is, which textures do you prefer?  The standard white Federation textures, or the darker FO fed textures.  Here are a couple pics for comparison. ^-^

If y'all like the FO-style ones better, I'll need to see if its ok to release them.  If not, then there is no problem.

Standard white textures look much better than the darker warship-like federation textures FO uses.

Hm, I think that the FO-style ones are just a tad too dark compared to other FO textures, but not certain  :blush:

As I said on the other site I like the darker better. This is what keeps me from porting a lot to FO is that the textures dont fit in with FO. Good work none the less.

It depends on the lighting I guess.  Sometimes it looks a little dark, and in some shots like one shown in the first post, it looks like nothing is changed.

Maybe I will just release it with the dark textures as alternative's in the pack.  If I can get permission that is.(shouldn't have any problems though)

I like the top one best.  The "dark" textures do seem darker than FO.  What map are you using these on?

Not the general look, but the "exposed" parts are really black, and that's the part that doesn't looks so great, I guess.  If you could have those really black parts lighter, while maintaining the general hull textures, you'd be fine.

yeah, I would do that, but I think it is beyond my abilitys.  All I really did was adjust the... well, I did stuff to the textures color and lighting, but nothing to the texture itself.

Basically, I'll try, but I don't think it will look very good. :sweatdrop:

Well... :whistling:  I guess a kick in the pants can be good for time to time. 

that is to say it turned out pretty well considering.

It looks like you replaced that bit with windows instead.  It looks a lot better, though.  What do we call this variation, the Trefiant? :lol:
