Well ive started on a little project of mine let me know what you think of it so far. O well its going to be a new ship 1 cookie for anyone who can tell me what looks like, pay attention to the nacelle placement

It looks like you're going to make a Miranda-style ship using the Excelsior-II.  The irony of course is that the ship should then be called the Miranda-II...

I won't tell Zeich if you don't.

Well, the only other thing it could be is an Akira then.  That could actually be interesting.  Is this one going to have a hanger bay full of fighters and 15 photon torpedo launchers too?

Wow, I never realized it was in Trek.  Apologies.

After you make the centuar, you could try making an Akira type out of it, if you wanted.   That could be fun, too.  For some reason I think that would look good.

I am actually a fan of the Centaur.  It is in the BC KM mod and I do enjoy using it from time to time.  It is a quick though little ship, even though it has limited firepower.

it probably has a long range as well due to comments from sisko about the commander of the centaur (charlie reynolds):

Benjamin Sisko: Charlie likes to swing for the fences

this range combined with speed would make a saber look weak. well a saber is weak, but it would make it look weaker.

That sounds like a baseball reference anyway I think it will be long range though. but it wont be as fast as a saber sorry.

here is a little bit newer one worked on the nacelles and the "wings". P.S. does anyone know why milkshape wont load the textures? it load the bump maps just fine but it cant load the regular stuff.
I would like to get some developer feedback in case they are not ok with what im doing.
