Yes, it's doable in standard A2 :) .

EDIT: ninja'd

That's why you gotta pay more attention to the community  :D . MMM was announced a very long time ago (almost a year now) and has been operable for A2 for all that time  ^-^

lol I thought about mentioning it to those at MSFC, but I decided thet would find out, and I didn't want to advertise.  I still need to learn to use it myself :sweatdrop:

Are there any more preview videos?

Not yet, although I'm working on something along with the A1 missions which I'll probably record at some point, when it actually works.

Well sorry but work on my own projects, raising a family and running a site where I do all the maintaining of the sites software means I don't have as much time to comb through all the community sites to keep up to date.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it a few times on MSFC. Either way, this should help with anybody who wants to add a new dimension to their mod. I wouldn't be surprised if the FO team uses this to develop their campaign.

Is Fleet Ops really going to have its own campaign? If it does, I'm sure I'll be downloading and installing it for sure. I just can't ever get online to play Star Trek Armada II and my present situation and also the fact that I have no internet connection where I'm living (since I'm not living at my friend's house anymore) so going outside to the library is my only way to get online and with a laptop that's easy :D.

I know as I get to learn how to actually use MMM, I will be making my own Fourth Campagin for Star Trek Armada II.

Eventually.  Although don't ask the devs for when it will be done. "It will be done when its done" is the likely reply.  I think the campaigns are months, if not years away yet from what I have read.

PS: Just had a funny thought.  You know at the zoo they put up signs saying "Do not feed the animals"?  Perhaps the devs needs a similar sign saying "Do not ask the devs when it will be done".

I think that's why I thought a new patch was coming out soon. hehe.
Is there possibly really a campaign some where's? If there is, would you by any chance please let me know?

I won't ask the Devs when they'll have a campaign for Fleet Ops. I'll just keep waiting.

Id say years away because we currently only 5 out of the 8 races that are a part of the campaign. And when i said "I thick there is one somewhere" i was talking to loki about the dont ask when the patch will be done sign.

A small update, didn't think it was worth another thread. I just finished implementing the bulk of dynamic map resizing, so you can now resize maps at runtime. The only issues remaining at the minute are warp-ins sometimes appearing at the edge of the map, and some shroud consistency issues, but they should both be pretty quick to fix.

I managed to get a 100k x 100k map working and running stable which is interesting (not too useful though, because its just a bit too big). The Million x Million map I mentioned in Tunngle also works, but placing buildings is horribly horribly slow  :P

Why would you want a million by million map?

By the way, how is the mission pack comming?

why not a nice long 2player game lol

I only did the million x million to see if it could be done, it's too big for a game. Work progresses OK, I've been a bit lazy this week though but I'll be doing some at the weekend.
