I'm confused... that was in response to Tyler's remark one post up (about size of Borg ships). :blush: I wasn't arguing one way or the other. heck, the escape pod idea sounds odd, but since ST is hardly consistent between TNG style stuff and Voyager... it could just be a different type of Sphere designed for a different task: afterall, we can presume that not all Spheres have the tech to make chroniton particles... so maybe that took up the space for weapons and defense.  :whistling:

Any chance in a future version of making the separation parts rank up? Or at least retain their original rank of the whole ship?

Lol forget that. Didn't realise that you only got mvam at veteran. Great work tyler. Critical shot still fires quantums though, even if you have the photon version.

Hello.
I have a problem with MVAM.
I think I put the files correctly, but no MVAM button (Is there a botton?) shows.
Although the ship has veteran rank, it has "Critical shot", Photon, and Phasers as weapons.

Would you help me for it?

MVAM is veteran only and comes with the game, so it has the button and techtree entry already. Are you sure you downloaded the right file? Only the one with MVAM at the end comes with the ability.

I have a problem with the MVAM of the prometheus. Everytime i try to  click the (in my case invisible) MVAM  button at veteran rank my game crashes. :(  I put everything in the right folders and edited all files(gui_global,dynamic_string....).

Any ideas?

Which version are you playing? The Prometheus hasn't been modified for the recently released 3.1.0.

The MVAM itself should work, though...

My FO is patched to 3.1.1 and your ship works fine for the most part....only the MVAM isn´t working.
Did the developers made any change to the MVAM mode in 3.1.1?

Actually you need to check that.  they did make changes to the replaceweapon.  none of my 3.0.7 ones worked in 3.1 :(

there are a couple extra lines like replaceinstantai = 0 and replaceinstantplayer = 0.  those need to be in there.  but Make sure they are spelled right :thumbsup:

Hi there, I'm a complete noob at this since I actually just discovered this game recently... but I'm wondering with 3.13 out now, will this model work for the version? cause I tried following the instructions and  pasted everything as stated and basically I can't even start the game after the changes made...

And basically all I wanted to try is to make it warp in capable not even want it as a build list item.

Any thoughts would be appreciated

The model should work, but the odf's may need some updating.

Is there no way to update the odfs in the MVAM to work in 3.13?  I tried looking at the odfs but actually don't know what to look for to update so that it could work... or is it just built into the game that it doesn't work yet.  can anyone shed some light into this matter?
