Yup, and K'beajQ are significantly more cost effective (although much slowre) as well. I just like having a few (maybe 5) fast B'rels to harass so that I can retreat each one as they get damaged. With the K'beajQ, it's all in or nothing (since you will only get 2 K'beajQ in the same time/cost as the B'rel, and retreating one halves your firepower).

Well, I did have a really good 1vs 0.01 strategy, but I'll need a volunteer *sharpens knife*. Anyone?  :whistling:

New version of the guide: v3.0 is online (well, only on filefront for now... but by tomorrow a new version should be up in the downloads section). Share and enjoy.

This version includes some new pictures and many corrections and additions--a little bit more info on the Tech Trees as well. Fleet Operations storyline and information on all factions, avatars, and plans current and future have been added (that which I could glean of course). Hotkey information added.

Can I have the Values of NPC ships? I'm trying to make a Database of ship values. Based off of you guide since I can't translate those symbols.

If you mean values as in the Offensive, Defensive and system, this file should tell you what number each one means.

It should allow you to translate without outside help.

Yey another version! Just thought this second that on page 24, if you press priority repair again, it will stop going towards the shipyard. Useful if you need to get that ship beack into the fight unexpectedly.

Ah, good point Unleash Mayhem: I actually found that out yesterday by mistake... didn't think it was intended, as I had never realized that this is what happened when you pressed it twice before  :blush:

EDIT: Incidentally, for the next version, I have finally added more stats to the structures in the tech trees... so that it resembles your suggestions from way back when  ^-^

Page 6: Paragraph 4: "Note that mixed-tech units receive their own special avatar and/or mixed-tech benefits..."
What do you mean by special avatar here? Not necessarily a complaint; I just don't get what you mean.

Page 8: Paragraph 1: "Thus it is a good idea to ask whether they are ok with being rushed,"
Picky I know, but just "ok" seems a little too txt talk. Okay would be fine.

Page 8: Paragraph 3: "comparing a particular unit from one faction to another"
Maybe change to "another unit from another factions" for greater clarity.

Page 8: Paragraph 4:
Starting from the first paragraph about Avatars, you use inconsistent capitalisation. If you standardised it, the whole guide would look more professional.

Page 9: Paragraph 2:
You don't explain borg mixed-tech as being different.

Page 9: Paragraph 3:
This is a bit confusing when you say each "class" of mixed-tech consumes one slot. When I first read it I thought you meant any mixed-tech ship.
Also, in general, the information about mixed-tech is a bit scattered. You have a paragraph near the beginning, this section here, and all the sections for the races. Maybe move some of it to one place, althought the race mixed-tech sections are great.

That's it for now, I'll continue later. Just remember I'm just trying to help, don't take anything personally! And I'm greatly appreciative of this gift of this guide you have given us.

Can you stop attention grubbing please? It's rude and immature. Unless the factions are imbalanced or the opposition is horrible how on earth could you make a good 2v1, 3v1, 4v1, or 5v1 strategy? And you darn well know that.
