Hey Dominus. Dex and I are working on a strategy against borg/directive assimilate to combat the assimilators assimilating your mining/base.

With which faction being against Assimilate?

That really shouldn't be that much of a problem as I remember... you'll have 1 warp in there and another soon after and you'll have a Canaveral with blackout and Sabers (and soon some Intrepids). If your opponent is focusing on assimilating your mining, they aren't going to be able to take out those ships in time... :ermm:

I need help coming up with a 5 vs 1 strategy... Anybody know one?

Enemies:
2x Borg
2x Dom
1x Fed

Player:
Klingons (Martok)

I'd like a good working 5 vs 1 strategy.

The guide's strategy portion is primarily geared towards online human(s) vs humans(s) play. If this is about the AI I suggest  that you make a new thread Gamer, as I will not be writing a "versus the AI" section.

I'm working on a cooperative multiplayer section, but if you are planning on taking that many human players, they must be really bad... I don't have a Martok strategy written out yet (I'm working on that :) ) but to start you off, going with an initial B'rel attack on resources always does the trick.  :sweatdrop:

hm, with martok i would start off with kbeajq instead and hunting down the miners. the brels are less effective in my opinion due to the missing torpedo.

Yes, but they are cheap and fast (and armed with pulse weapons). Since if you are playing a 1v2 or more you want a lot of firepower early on, you can't really play it defensive... which is what I view a strategy as starting off with K'beajQ as being (because they have a long construction time and high cost, and aren't quick hit and run units).

hm, true, on the other hand, they last a bit longer and they can shot while retreating, so... guess its an opinion thing
