Yeah, I use Windows Live Movie Maker.  Pretty snazzy stuff.  Once I get a bit better at this I may try to jazz them up.  I definitely have an increased level of respect for those that do multiple commentaries.  It is definitely a pain to get them uploaded....and I don't do half the "extra love" you add to your posts etc...

one thing i will suggest is that you change your title screen, it looks great in hd, but looks terrible at lower resolutions.

what happened in that 2v2, why did nfrost quit?

and those are definitely still processing, 360 is the only option lol

nFrost didn't have any mining left and only a handful of sabers.  I think they thought it was impossible to come back.

With a handful of Sabres, I'd normally just attack and try to cause damage before dying. But that's just me.

Side question: Why do people usually put Shipyards in the most awkward places they can? They're normally pressed up against a Starbase where ships leaving the Base and ones going for repair would be blocked by the other station...

i find the best placement for sabre spam is 1 yard at each main base moon. gives you the ability to get miners into repair easier.

for standard fed double yarding a yard usually goes at the exp. the main base yard usually gets placed within starbase weapons range to prevent the yard getting killed, but i would sometimes risk putting the main yard at my dil moon.

some throw down a yard as fast as possible to get out a ship earlier. roms and klinks do that mostly.

1 close to the expansion and 1 within weapons range of a base makes sense, but wouldn't putting it at the side of a Starbase make more sense than sitting pressed up against the opening? Still in weapons arc, but doesn't block the ships you build or repair.

I usually do that, gives the ships some room to move without being blocked.

i've never had the issue of a starbase blocking a ship trying to get in the top. maybe if there was a queue of multiple ships waiting to repair, but i never have those.

Anyone notice a slight trace of irony in that match? Like Arash8472 palying as the Borg.

lol he is good with those early game ships.

at the end of that 3v3 i saw him with a double vinca dodeca, presumably to recharge a sphere with a holding module. i love that strat.

borg were the first race i learned mp on, and are still my fav, although i like roms too.

we all got it tyler. making it italic made it pretty clear, just neither of us had a comment on it.
