personally i go random all the time. i dont really bother setting up particular matches, i guess if enough people suggest a matchup i could get it done.

No, they're masquerading as Old_time_Pro. Sneaky Roms like to do that.

This was a fun game! (also, my 100th replay!)

Nice, finally I made it into a replay  . The beginning of that one felt easier then it looks like in the rep, I wasn't aware that zebh had those B-5s and perimetre up that fast . Yandon pointed out the Vor'cha not to be that good against Generix, what would you have taken? Actually I found the combination of B'rel/K'vort/Vor'cha quite nice here. Sangs and Charghs would have been to fragile against frigates in my eyes.

Takes away the generix advantage of being tough enough to survive a long time.

The Man of the Match, sponsored by AlanAlpha, is Mort for brilliant use of decloak and a good memory of the counter table in building Shrikes to fight Leahvals.

Mort managed the first Romulan Roll, building up a large fleet and steamrolling over his enemy.

Good game, guys.  The left team could have done better if they'd microed more, but all in all it was a good match.

I laughed at AlanAlpha though, no offense but you were wrong about so many things.

Pulses aren't bad against monsoons, monsoons counter long range so maybe you were thinking of rhienn pulses.

Aldovh type cloak is for all vet rhienns.

MPW adds a third pulse weapon in the middle, the wing pulses and central beam are standard on the Norexan.

It was funny hearing myles trying to be nice about disagreeing with you.

not everyone is as elite and perfect as you tryptic you are so brilliant, your intelligence and awesomeness radiates from your ascerbic post (!). i admit you have tried to make your post sound nice, but it still leaves a slightly bitter taste in my mouth.

i made an annotation about aldovh cloak. he also realised about the MPW disruptor later on in the game.

i think alanalpha makes a good commentator, his voice is way nicer than mine.

Dexter admitted after the games that his micro could do with some improvement. when he gets his micro down he will be unstoppable.

lol i wondered how long until that meme made it onto this site.

boggz and dexter are both famous as good klingon players, i'd definitely enjoy recording them having a game. sadly for the next 6 weeks my house will have a team of builders doing work and replays will be impossible.

I wasn't trying to be mean, but maybe I didn't need to explain the mistakes in this thread.  Personally I get upset when people DON'T tell me I'm doing something wrong, 'cause then I just keep doing it wrong and looking more stupid!  And I've done things more stupid than being wrong about a few video game mechanics.

No insult was intended.  It was entertaining

theres more to a roll than just numbers tbh mort did a roll with hardly ANY losses with epic pings




and yes i do get things wrong and no ones perfect and i dont have 2 monitors to view specials/counters while in a game and i dont often build late game ships so i dont know everything (hell if i did the devs would change sommit just to throw me off lol)

tbh havent looked at the counter table in ages maybe i should  lol

Everyone hates their voice when they do replays.   You did great commentating, Alan.  Very talkative, very entertaining.
