you might not have oput it in the right place.  the .exe needs to be placed in the fleetops/data folder witht he origional armada2.exe

Thanks it works now.  :thumbsup: Also, do you know how to convert models from FO? Theres a Milkshape 3d plugin, but it will only import stock models :(

actually there is a non stock importer for ms3d and the creator has given permission for it to be released but a2files still wont put it up as there are trust issues also  ultimate unwrap has a non stock importer

The diagrams of the ships. I was under the impression they were using high quality models on them.

Hmm... Im not so sure. The models compared to the ingame ones youn can tell theres a huge difference.  :blink:

Those images are renders of the models. Also if ur pc is not up to spec the models themselves will look lower quality. But basicly those pretty images are renders that one of the devs made. Problably made with full lighting and bumps etc....But since ur running LW I somehow doubt ur pc is not up to spec sooooo....i dunno...

more than likely they were created in maya which will has a lot more rendering options than armada 2 has

actually they are created in 3dMax2010 (as most of the models are, exepct those that are made by zeich) and they are the ingame models, with the ingame textures, adjusted lightning and shadow. Shouldn't be a too large difference if you play on max :)

how do u export in 3dmax2010 i thought the exporter was for 3dmax5 or below

Ah. Actualy 3ds files import into LW. Its how I got that Dread :D

Something about this confuses me and I never thought to ask it; Why is the Intrepid firing Type-XV Phasers? Only Sabre, Canaveral and Norway Class have those, not Intrepids.
