Much better for me now. But I'm a perfectionist and for that I've a little advise: You can't give every race credit on a cover. It tends to feel growded. Frontwise concentrate on the most important things linked to V3 release which are the Borg (you took a very good motive for that) and the most popular race, which for me, is the Federation.

Even though this motive seems to be sucked out (for a reason) this would follow the saying "sometimes less is more".

You need to create a feeling...something that makes us remember the feeling we had when sitting in the cinema, watching a Trek movie. Impressive scenes. I believe that's it, that makes a cover a very good one.

I know , I just thought it would look better and I agree with Jan that in this case less is better than more. And the Cube looks really good on the cover, IMO it alone would be good enough

It 'tis.  To further bring this thread back from the dead, I thought I might provide my thoughts.  for some reason, I had always thought of this as a FleetOps CD image.

With my cool CD labeling disk drive I could actually do the black and white one.  

Edit: Ok, so its semi-transparent, and it looked better in gimp.

lol I actually got the names messed up, but I agree.  I actually envisioned it in blue, but the black and white one looks better I think.

I like your CD, Z.  I think it would be really good if you could get it with the red logo, etc.
