Hello all. I know I am relatively new to posting around here but, hey - gotta start somewhere!

after watching such a fantastic project come together and being amazed at the quality of it all I have decided to create a DVD case disk cover for Fleet Operations.  :D
I guess this can be my little contribution and I was just looking to see what you guys though of my "box art" images taken from floating around on this site so I hope none of you/[the mods] mind.

Comments welcome. I personally am happy with the results and it only started out as a personal thing so I could have it looking good on my shelf. Enjoy...

(I hope I've uploaded/attached it correctly for you all to see.) :sweatdrop:

Just two thoughts:

Might be better to drop the version number (for all intensive purposes, the project is Simply: Star Trek Armada II: Fleet Operations), also would use Sovereign or Decent rather than if I'm not mistaken the Excalibur class which actually isn't in the game, Otherwise it looks great =)

Thanks. I'm not as up on all my ship classes as many of you around here - I just chose what images I thought looked good and made them into my own personal cover. Also - as a side note.... I added the version number for purposes of posting on here since I saw that was what it's up to now. The actual cover doesn't contain it.  DOH!  >_<  (Imagine it without it then) :-P

Isn't that the Canaveral though, FullPhaser?
Anywho: no useful criticism from me as it looks pretty good

Yes, but one of the other pictures contains the 'Excalibur' actually to be honest with you, if it didn't have that one ship which I personally despise...(The only other ship I despise is the Galaxy X) I would print it out and slide it into a jewel case =].

Such a bitter-sweet moment for you! I apologise

Thank you.

Since there has been a few comments about the same thing, I'll change it a little and see what it looks like. :) Look out for an update

Here are some alternate covers, replacing the despised (albeit aesthetically pleasing composition of an image IMO) Excalibur class ship from the front.

Do let me know what you all think of each. Thanks...

Cover 2 looks amazing man. Incredible how you were able to use the actual model from the game on the cover. That speaks volumes about the details the team put in their models :)

I have to agree with the Baron, Cover 2 by far looks the best

Thank you! Please be aware that these images are compressed & reduced size for the forum. The actual full-resolution image is clearer , less compressed and formatted to the correct width & height for printing. :)
