but seriously the wormhole isnt gone optec. how would odo have got back to the great link and kira flown that runabout back to ds9?

unless the fleetops story has been written so that the prophets closed it again after the last episode. which would be ok too it's your story to write

The wormhole isn't gone, but the Federation and Bajor (the latter of which holds grudges) controls it. Considering that they are not likely to be very fond of Dominion with a Dominion War-style mentality, it pretty much is gone to them.

if the founders ignored odo's calls to stop trying to take over the galaxy then they could probably quite easily raise a fleet to destroy the federation. unless they put up more of rom's trademark mines. i always wondered why they didnt put the mines back after they took ds9. it seemed like the only way they could be destroyed was by using that beam to disable each one, which took days and needed a ship/station present. ross said that the only thing keeping the dominion in the gamma quadrant was the prophets, but mines did the job fine before. maybe prophet sisko would stop any dominion aggression lol

hmmm sounds interesting, they would have less resources so they would not like kamikaze runs. so bugship rams would either not be permitted or be less effective etc

maybe these new soldiers could have a slightly more sneaky focus, kinda like romulans. maybe they have a ship with cloak. and some spy like abilities. as they are weak and need to be clever in order to compete.

I don't think a new race would solve the issue because they have the breen which is sneak with cloaked cruisers, they have brains in vortas, they have brawn with Jemhadar, they need something totally new. Like it was mentioned before they could use a minor faction. Maybe pirates... call in an outdated ktinga/miranda/constitution/rom warbird and they could make them more effective at raiding and ships destroyed could give the dominion some supply+dilithium. Maybe the Interstellar Space Concordium could be the other part of the triangle. Im just throwing ideas out there. (If I say the stupid ideas first, then someone else will be less likely to say it latter)

That would be the avatar to fight the Klingons. A super genetically modified furry loveble tribble. Its special is increased attack strength for vessels attacking klingon vessels by 100%. All other races besides borg can't attack it. Borg can't assimilate it.  What more do you want from an avatar?

Don't forget the special weapons...beam a tribble crewmember to an enemy ship or station it automatically becomes yours due to tribble breeding

Tribble bombardment should be Fed-klingon mixed tech.
