I'm willing to bet another minor faction would become a fourth avatar, as we aren't dealing with Gamma Founders, but Alpha Quadrant instead :)

The only avatar with a mining bonus!  ;)

Not exactly 'canon' persay, but the Rakelli from SFC3 could be fun. They're definitely not friendly towards the Federation or Klingons. Or the Romulans, considering what happened in the storyline during the game.

I've got no clue how to import/convert the things for ST:A2, and I've been dying to see them in-game there.

Heres an idea (just tossing it out there but) How about a Reman avatar, The Remans dont realy have a place in the Star Empire anymore and might be looking for someone more along there ideology  :shifty:

remans are slaves on remus. they are still salves of the romulans. since nemesis they probably are being treated even worse.

ya im with mal on that one. and i dont think they would join the dominion because they want to be there own masters and also they were forced to fight the dominion.

If we are going to maintain the idea of canon on the Reman topic, i doubt they would still be slaves, Romulus was destroyed, Remus might have survived, thus allowing the Remans to once again take advantage of the situation. And if we use sources such as Star Trek: Countdown wich is not canon(Most only count the tv series and movies as canon) The Remans made a brief appearance in the comic book series Star Trek: Countdown, a tie-in to the 2009 Star Trek film. A fleet of Reman ships captured and boarded Nero's mining ship the Narada while it was mining decalithium in the Kimben System at the farthest edge of the Romulan Empire in 2387. Wich means that the Remans already had fleets that wernt under direct Romulan control.

In the FO universe (not the normal Star Trek universe) Romulus didn't blow up.  So there's no reason for the Remans to not still be enslaved.

The whole idea of the Remans didn't make sense anyway - if they were enslaved, how were they able to make a ship superior to all other ships in the Alpha Quadrant?

And can we please forget about the 2009 reboot?  Romulus is still there.

jj-trek reboot doesnt affect fleetops, i treat the reboot is a separate entity that isnt in real trek canon, it has its own canon by itself.

So romulus didnt get blown up. And the remans are slaves. About building the scimitar, that was a plain silly bad piece of writing in nemesis. They should have had it so shinzon captured an experimental romulan ship. Thats more sensible, but still a stretch.

Even in jj-canon remus is in the same star system as romulus and would have been wiped out like romulus.

What about the Interstellar Concordium? They and the Dominion are both bloodthirsty hypocrites, both see themselves as well-intentioned extremists and both try to make 'peace' between other races by conquering them. They are quite compatible in motive and method.

Best of all, they are quite close to the main power of the show, being a beta quadrent power not far from Romulan space.

Some interessting ideas :)

Yep, i think we do not intended to do more then one "Dominion only" avatar, puretech stands for that. After all, in the FO universe, the "major" dominion is - thanks to Odo - relatively peaceful. And with the wormhole gone, they are not that relevant. The Dominion powers encountered throughout the FO story are scattered post-War forces, like the isolation in Breen space. That's why their avatars are alliances.

There are multiple candidates for the 4th Dominion avatar right now, but nothing is set into stone yet. Keep the ideas coming!

Now I know! It'll be the Remans! Late-game-supermonster Scimitar with 50+ disruptorcannons and fighters harassing the other foes!  :woot: :woot: :woot:

Nah. Just kidding. But what about Nausicaans? They may not add genetic technology or subspace-weapons, but may be some more brute force?

I think  the Orion Pirate captains get their ships the old fashioned way "They Steal it!"

According to memory Alpha the Dominion signed pacts with both the Miradorn and Tholians. I'm not sure if the Tholians would go far to aid the Dominion, but if sticking to cannon is important then I guess the Miradorn might be a favorable 4th avatar.

I still vote for an unexpected race though.  :sweatdrop:
