in light of this then - for a Fed special weapon we can have Weapon Remodulation station as a special station.
this station could replace the temporal stations since we dont like that one so much, and it will allow fed energy weapons (or if preferred all weapons - torps and phasers) penetrate enemy to shields for a specific time and deal direct damage to the hull.

The borg special weapon instead of the Transwarp hub could be regenerative shielding. A special interplexing station will be needed to research this ability.
Once researched, it will allow all borg vessels to have the added protection of strong shields.
The station will enable shields on borg vessels for a specific period of time, adding to their strength.

But Transwarp is a key feature of the Borg. Maybe an avatar-specific station?

I like the time station, but that idea sounds better.
