i have another idea, about a flagship, that a flagship would have the trading abilities, and if you wanted to trade, 2 flagships would have 2 meet, it's simplier than convoys, but convoy idea is preety sweet 2

not to keen on this to be honest

Lol 2 flagships? Thats not very realistic.

it's soooo realistic, flagships are like your command post, so you have to like negotiate for trade rights, and if your flagship is destroyed, every ships could have an option (in that chair icon) 2 make any ship your flagship, and if a ship is selected as your flagship, it would become something like 1 time stronger

A flagship is just the latest most powerful ship of each race lol, their not ment to trade. Where did you get that idea from?

doca sed he was thinking about puting calinisation back in the game. maby make the ships that calinise planets as trading ships two.

what we really should do is make a new station in each race, called trading station, and it could tranfer resources from freighters of your allies

wgat about when you trade a fregiy ship fliys on the map docks with your bace and fliys to the person you wont to trade with.

this whood reqirer that the fringy can be shot and and distroyed and or capthered.

I always thought it a bit silly that in AII the ferengi scavengers and cargo ships could just waltz past non-trading races like the Borg or 8472 (You had to manually attack them). Maybe post V3 it could be made so the Borg and other non-traders (like the Noxter) see the firengi as a threat, and so attack or assimilate ferengi ships that come near (You ccould dissasemble the cargo ships, and assimilated maruaders would make good cannon fodder :lol:).

i think we need marine ships that will capture ships quciker as i hate it when i am trying to get a ship and i end up blowing the f*** out of it.
