no the akira has the same type X that the galaxy has. Prior to the Prommie, the sovereign was the only vessel capable of using the type XII arrays.

yes the sovie has a better, more efficient warp core, but the prommie seperates, (which means the warp core does as well).

perhaps you could tune down the phasers and add a weak photon torpedoe?
